About Me

Hey, thanks for stopping by.
I'm Peter Van Dyk, currently a college student at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF) majoring in Agricultural-Biotechnology and Biochemistry, and minoring in Crop and Dairy sciences (a mouth full for anybody to say).  Even with all of that schooling, I will be done in 4.5 years (not bad if I must say).  Grown up of a family crop and dairy farm...around 500 milking head plus young-stock, and a few dairy steers on the side (so over 1200 head of dairy cattle) and run over 4000 acres of land.  Most of my work on the farm is on the nutrition side of it (and some occasion equipment operation) as the relief feed manager (my dad being the head feed manager).  As with any family farm, you never have just one position to fill, so that is where the equipment operation comes in with the harvest, whether silage trucking, or grain trucking mostly, sometimes mowing hay, baling, merging/raking, or grain carting.  You can track me down almost anywhere on the Internet, including YouTube #1Facebook, and Twitter.  Please ask questions if there is something you want to know, questions are the only way you can learn about how things work, and why.
